Hollow Days Coming Soon...
Coming soon. Don’t you love those words? They are a vague way of saying hey, my book is coming, but I don’t know exactly when. But not today! Coming on Monday, October 22nd, I will be releasing my twenty-fifth Haunted Series novel A Daughter of Nyx. Because this is such a milestone, we at Ravens’ Rook have decided to combine the first three novels, The Hauntings of Cold Creek Hollow, Ghostly Attachments, and Sand Trap, into an omnibus for $6.99, for a limited time, starting Monday if not sooner. If you have peeps, who you know would love PEEPs, now is the perfect time for them to pick up a new addiction. Tell them, it’s a wonderful gift to give themselves. Just in time for the hollow days.

Greetings!
This is my vacation postcard to you. If you missed it, I have released the 24th novel of the Haunted Series, Book of Souls. If you’re wanting a great read in between trips to the beach, getting your kids back to school, or just something to keep you company during the dog days of summer, this is the book for you.

I thought I would give you an update on where I am with the next book release. Book of Souls has been delayed. Health concerns of my editor and a recent death in the family has pushed the release date back to the first week of August or sooner. I hope you understand.

One just needs to walk outside up here at the top of the mitt to feel the energy of the emergence of spring. It seems like the trees are competing for space in the sky. I took a drive south this weekend, and even though it was raining, I could see a different kind of color change as I returned. The light vibrant greens of the birches, the red hues of the oaks and the deep green of the maples were a beautiful backdrop for the flowering trees. Yes, the cherry trees aren’t the only ones displaying beautiful blooms. White, light and deep pinks dominate the fruit trees. Add in the shrubs and new grasses, and I think it’s every bit as beautiful as the autumn display.

I had an idea for a Haunted Series book last summer while I was working on the next Cid Garrett P.I. Series book. I wrote down the bare bones of it and put it in my book ideas file and proceeded to write the third book in the Cid Garret P.I. Series titled Tiny Houses. You would think it would stay and wait there patiently until called upon. Boy was I wrong.

“Tiny Houses,” the third book of the Cid Garrett P.I. series, is in my editor’s hands! I’m also knee-deep into the first draft of book #23 of the Haunted Series. We hope to get these books to you as soon as humanly possible.
While you’re waiting on me, you may want to check out these excellent authors. May of them have their first eBook of their series available for $0.99!

Well, how do you like it now? For you winter sports enthusiasts, this is your year! You can fly down the slopes, slide around corners, snow shoe into the woods, ride your fat tire bikes along the trails, and sled… Me, I’d love to do all those things, but I’ve just finished my first draft of Tiny Houses, and I’m in the process of looking it over a last time before giving it to the Red Pen, and I really don’t have the time.
However, I did turn my head from time to time to chronicle the snowfall from my office window. I would have taken more pictures outside, but evidently my iPhone battery isn’t built for the cold, joy. I hate to dump on Apple, but you guys have slid downhill faster than my car on South Airport Drive. Anyway, I thought I’d share a few pictures as I catch you up on all things PEEPs.
