It is my pleasure to announce the release of The Wages of Cin, the fourth book of the Cin Fin-Lathen Mysteries series, on Amazon Kindle. After receiving so many requests to continue the series I pondered what to write about in the next book. I waited for the muse to hit, because I didn’t’ want to push it, I wanted to write the right book. The idea for this cozy came to me while listening to Beauty in Disrepair the newest solo album by Emerson Hart of Tonic. I wanted to take my readers on a journey of a woman caught up in the romance of the return of her favorite band. It was a pleasure to revisit Cin Fin-Lathen. I got caught up in her adventures, writing sometimes into the wee hours of the morning.
During the writing of this novel, a song emerged within the pages, that we’ve called Cin’s Song. The Webguy was kind enough to not only put it to music, but to add his marvelous baritone voice to the lyrics. We are giving this mp3 free to you as a thank you for your enthusiasm and support of not only the Cin Fin-Lathen Mystery series but the Haunted Series as well. Also check out the book trailer the Webguy as put together at the bottom of the post.
In celebration of the release of the fourth novel, we are putting the first three, Decomposing, Death by Saxophone and Discord on Countdown on Amazon Kindle, May 22, 2015. This weekend all Cin Fin-Lathen Mysteries will be $.99 in the USA and £.99 in the UK, this includes the three pack, which normally sells for $5.99. If you haven’t experienced Countdown yet, the prices rise every few days, so don’t delay, just click through on the books page.
Updates:
The Audiobook Sand Trap is in postproduction with Audible and I hope to see it released soon. I’ve heard the recording and I am so pleased by how Emily Beresford has not only brought my characters to life, but she has captured the feel of the book as well.
My newest Haunted Series book Never Forget (#15 novel) first draft has been finished and scheduled for editing. Be patient because this book may be the longest of the “Haunted Series,” and will take time to spit and polish. I’m hoping for an early summer release. As always, check here for updates and information on the release.
Finally:
I would like to thank all of you for your encouragement and support of my books. Writing them is such a pleasure and having them received so enthusiastically is icing on the cake! Enjoy the last of our spring days and the approach of summer. Take in a few bands if you get the opportunity. I will be watching Tonic, Toad the Wet Sprocket and more this summer.
Enjoy,
Alexie Aaron
