New Haunted Series Novel "The Long Game" is out!

It is my pleasure to announce the release of The Long Game! I have so enjoyed the writing of this mega-long book. It will answer questions, highlight most of the characters, and hopefully entertain you for a few days. Warning, if you’re going to read it in one sitting, you may need a caffeine drip, sugary treats, and someone else to watch the kids and spouse. If you have a good spouse-sitter, send me their credentials!

Haunted Melodies

When I was looking into writing this blogpost, I had every intention of listing all the musicians who have passed on in 2016. As I researched this, I found that I was unaware of most of their passings, but not of their contributions to the music I have enjoyed in my life. I didn’t want to mirror what others have said about Prince, Haggard, Frey, and Bowie. Instead, I thought about discussing whether or not we are haunted by music.

This weekend, The Red Pen and I attended a Vertical Horizon concert. It took place in a Chicago club The Wire, and even though the crowd was small, the performers were big. They performed like they were playing for a house of tens of thousands.

Never Forget

It’s here! Never Forget the 15th novel of the Haunted Series has been released! The beta reader gave his blessing, and I uploaded the ebook to Amazon and Barnes and Noble this evening, June 21st, 2015. I hope to see it available late tonight or tomorrow. In honor of this release, The Hauntings of Cold Creek Hollow will go on Countdown this Friday, June 26th, 2015 for $.99 and £.99. This would be an excellent time for possible new readers to pick up a copy of the first book of the series. That’s not all. The Wages of Cin Released!

It is my pleasure to announce the release of The Wages of Cin, the fourth book of the Cin Fin-Lathen Mysteries series, on Amazon Kindle. After receiving so many requests to continue the series I pondered what to write about in the next book. I waited for the muse to hit, because I didn’t’ want to push it, I wanted to write the right book. The idea for this cozy came to me while listening to Beauty in Disrepair the newest solo album by Emerson Hart of Tonic. I wanted to take my readers on a journey of a woman caught up in the romance of the return of her favorite band. It was a pleasure to revisit Cin Fin-Lathen. I got caught up in her adventures, writing sometimes into the wee hours of the morning.
