It’s the time of the year, traditionally, where we all start thinking about what’s new on television and why haven’t I, Alexie Aaron, put my series on yet. I would love to see the Haunted Series on TV or a movie or both. I have researched this and brought in experts in this area to counsel me on how to best go about it. The first thing I need is to get new readers, a lot of them. So, I waved my wand… No, I have hired a group to send press releases to just about everybody, which discusses the Haunted Series and its first book, The Hauntings of Cold Creek Hollow.
We will be contacting bloggers, television shows that discuss books, newspapers, and other media that will get the Haunted Series story out. We need to get the powers to be to start hearing my name, Alexie Aaron, everywhere. You readers have brought me this far by suggesting my books to your friends. I wouldn’t be at this point in my career if it wasn’t for your encouragement, comments, reviews, and support. Now, you’ve asked me to have it made into a television series. Okay, I’m game, but I’ll need your help to do this. If you’re in a position to name drop Alexie Aaron in a reading forum or add me to a book list, it would help. The more people who see my name, the greater the odds that I’ll be taken seriously when I contact agents and producers.
I believe in the Haunted Series. I intend to continue to write it regardless of the distraction other medias bring. As long as I can honor my readers with a fun, exciting page-turning story, then I will continue to write the series.
Update: Haunted Series book 22, Risen, is being edited. I’m pretty sure this book is the largest - or comes real close - that I’ve written. It was so much fun to be in this story with Mia, Murphy, and PEEPs.
I’ve already started the third book of the Cid Garrett P.I. Series, and I have the premise for book 23 of the Haunted Series already. The muse is functioning overtime, must be the air up here at the top of the mitt.
Returning to the possibilities, what are the odds of a television series? I’d say that the characters in the books are relatable, the dialogue is already written, and there is so much interest in the paranormal right now that I know we stand a good chance. Let’s lift our cups of coffee and tea to possibilities. Without the ability to imagine, we cannot dream.
