Hello! I’m deep into writing the first draft of my next novel of the Haunted Series. So deep that I have been lax on my weekly blog, doing my laundry, nails, hair, shopping, and exercises. Determined not to be one of those authors, I've decided to take care of many of my neglected activities, except for my laundry, nails, hair, shopping and exercises.
It’s hard to keep up with other things when I’m writing. My focus is on Mia, Murphy, PEEPs and not much else. Lost in the muse is a great place for me to be, but it has been brought to my attention that I can be annoying if approached during this time. I've been known to wander off in the middle of conversations with my editor, my beta reader, my web guy, and my mother. Writing may not be air to me, but it is intoxicating.
As you may be aware, the Ghosts & Haunted House genre has been my primary focus these last few years, but did you know that I also have a trio of cozy mysteries out there? These adventures of a whisky-drinking newly-divorced woman over her head in trouble were my first forays into mystery fiction. Cin Fin-Lathen is a character very dear to me. Some people think she may indeed be me. If I were taller, thinner, available, and fictional, she would be. After all, we do have many things in common, a shared lust for Gabriel Byrne, an appreciation for little blue BMWs, and sticking our noses where they don’t belong.
I've decided to put the first book of the mystery series on Kindle Countdown for a week starting Friday, November 7th. Decomposing will be available for $.99 on Amazon Kindle. If you wanted to genre hop and take a chance on a cozy mystery, now would be a great time.
Okay, back to Mia…
