So whatcha doin’ now?
Dancing! The above screen grab is from Amazon Friday, February 21st, 2020. Yesterday 02202020 they posted that book # 5 of the Cid Garrett P.I. series had sold 215 books in one day. So my number five book is number five overall in the ghost genre. Even if it’s temporary, I’m very happy. It’s been a tough winter.
If I wasn’t digging out the driveway and walk with my daughter’s help, (she does all the heavy lifting while I bury myself with snow, blown the wrong way as I maneuver our machine) I was digging through boxes locating receipts and forms to prepare for taxes. I did, however, manage to finish book # 29 Lost Child of the Haunted Series. I just handed it over to my editor, so we will have a new book out this spring.
How have you managed to survive the cold or in the southern hemisphere’s case the heat of winter? I watched Locke and Key on Netflix. It was amazing and scary. But you would expect this of something with the source material of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez comic book series. It’s not an easy watch, so it’s a big yes for you horror and suspense fans, but a no for the more sensitive of you. I climbed over the back of the couch at one point. Also, if you’re not a fan of teenage angst… pass. I put up with it because the visuals were amazing.
I use the word amazing a lot. What else is amazing? Star Trek: Picard (CBS All Access). What makes this an even better experience is to watch Will Wheaton’s Ready Room after you finish with the episode. I’m a Will Wheaton fan. His exuberance for all things Star Trek is very much appreciated by this nerd.
Once I finish digging out of the papers, I will be writing book #30. I have a lot of ideas floating around in my head. Time to catch a few and put them on paper.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend of reading, watching and living your life to the best of your abilities.
Hugs!
