I wanted to alert you readers that the 28th book of The Haunted Series, Sticks and Stones, is going to be released Friday the 20th of December. It could show up on Amazon on Thursday, and if it does, I’ll notify you here and on Facebook. I know that many of you will be busy with the holidays, but I wanted you to have something to read on those downtimes. Times when you really don’t want to shift snow, vacuum up the continuous cookie crumbs, or in some cases, slather on sunscreen (you know who you are).
For those waiting for a new Cid Garrett P.I. novel. We hope to get one to you early February. The first draft is just about finished.
Due to his heavy work schedule, the Webguy has turned over the website to me for a while. He will be here for the podcasts; otherwise, I would be talking to myself. Not that I don’t do that already, as my neighbors, the grocery store cashiers, and crows can testify. Until I get acclimated to this medium, please excuse the plethora of homophones, typos, and misaligned pictures. I’ll get the hang of this and hopefully become more frequent with my posts, oy.
This year has been a challenging one for all of us at Ravens’ Rook and, from what I can see, from your messages and posts, for you too. I believe that positive things attract. Extend a compliment when you receive good service. Sing a song of patience when you’re waiting for a parking space. Realize that everyone is late this time of year. If someone is pushing you in traffic, pull over and let the aggressive individual pass you. Life is too splendid and short to let the shadows of negativity and meanness darken your door. Take a moment to breathe and give thanks.
Circle the calendar, December 20th Sticks and Stones will be released on Amazon. Barns and Noble and Kobo to follow.
Sing a song of Patience
To help a day gone awry
You don’t have to be perfect
It’s enough that you try.
The next verse is up to you. Love, Alexie
